HAVE FUN
We laugh because joy is evidence of who we are. This comes from John 10:7-10 and John 15:7-11. We believe you experience the most joy when you know Jesus and we want that to be evident in us. Faith is funnest!
DO IT TOGETHER
We hang out because we’re stronger together. The world wants us to think we’re self-sufficient, but we’re not. We’re built for community and navigating life is easier with people who care about you. Check out Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and Hebrews 10:24-25 for more.
MAKE IT MATTER
We chase Jesus because it’s the only thing that will count in the end. Matt 16:24-27 teaches us that whoever would save his life for his own purpose will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ’s purposes will find it. If we’re not chasing Jesus, we’re wasting our time. Other things are important, but they will never be as important.
SCHOOL YEAR SCHEDULE
STUDENT WORSHIP
When: Sundays | 9am – 10am | August – May
Who: 6th – 12th Grades
Where: Middle School meets in the SMB* | High School meets in the Chapel
What: Student Worship is a worship service geared specifically for students. Through worship, a large group lesson, and a short application discussion to follow, we offer students the opportunity to meet Jesus where they are and to grow deeper in their faith. Our goal during these meetings is to confront real life issues students face every day with the truth of Scripture. We see this service as the front door to our student ministry and is the event we encourage students to invite their friends to first at Northeast.
GROUPS
When: Wednesdays | 7pm | August – May
Who: 6th – 8th Grades | 7pm – 8pm
Who: 9th – 12th Grades | 7pm – 8:30pm
Where: Middle School meets in the SMB* | High School meets in the Chapel
What: GROUPS is the student version of LifeGroups at Northeast. This time is aimed at providing accountability, belonging, and care through intentional relationships. Through games, small group conversations, prayer, and study of the Word, we believe the format of GROUPS provides our students with the best opportunity to develop a faith that will last and to provide them with a support group of adults that can last long after they finish high school. This is ultimately the place we hope all our students land as they pursue a deeper relationship with Christ.

The Orange Philosophy
What do we mean by 'orange?' It's when the influence of the love from the family (red) and the light of the church (yellow) come together to impact the next generation. The NextGen Ministry at Northeast exists to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. Through the celebration of faith milestones, movement along the Northeast discipleship pathway, and by creating opportunities for family faith experiences, the ministry team at Northeast serves parents and families by being a catalyst for discipleship in the home.
