In 1981, Northeast Bible Church launched as the vision of a small group of people from Wayside Chapel in San Antonio.
The vision was simple:
Plant a church to reach the Northeast corner of San Antonio with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Over forty years later, Northeast continues to pursue its vision to reach the community for Jesus Christ. In 2003, we launched New Braunfels Bible Church. In 2015 Stone Oak Bible Church was planted. 2018 saw the birth of King’s Community; and in 2020 (against the odds) we launched One Community Church.
In addition to planting local churches, we are also active in our community through partnerships with schools and community organizations. Overseas, we support individual missionaries, we are partnering with Lifesong for Orphans in Haiti, and we sponsor short-term mission trips to Peru in coordination with our missionaries already serving there.
From a small beginning by a small group of people inspired by a vision, Northeast Bible Church now serves about 1,200 people each weekend, and ministers to countless families throughout the Northeast corner of San Antonio and around the world as we seek to spread the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
