Students (6th – 12th grade)
enCOUNTER
When: Sundays | 9a | August 27th – May 27th
Who: 6th – 12th Grades
Where: SMB*
What: Encounter is a worship service geared specifically for students. The environment fosters fellowship, comes with relevant teaching, and will challenge students to own their faith. We see this service as the front door to our ministry, and it is the primary avenue we use to encourage our students to invite their friends to Northeast for the very first time. It is about offering students the opportunity to encounter Christ for the very first time, and taking students deeper in their faith journey by confronting real life issues with the truth of the scriptures.
enRICH
When: Wednesdays | 6p | September 6th – May 23rd
Who: 6th – 12th Grades
Where: SMB*
What: Enrich is the student version of LifeGroups at Northeast. Together, students will grow in understanding the value and importance of Christian Community in their faith journey. This time is aimed at providing accountability, belonging, and care through intentional relationships. Through Bible study, fellowship, and service, we believe this is the avenue by which our students will experience the most growth in their faith. This is ultimately the place we hope all our students land. This piece of our discipleship pathway has the most power to impact students with long-lasting faith.
enGAGE
What: Our desire is to see students engaging their faith and the world around them. We talk about engaging mission around Northeast by talking about Compassion. We realize that an integral part of the disciples journey is loving and giving to others. We challenge our students to engage in serving the church, the community, and the world. You will see students serving the church on Sunday mornings in several capacities, partnering in local mission opportunities through Student LifeGroups, and traveling on short-term mission trips with the Student Ministry.

The Orange Philosophy
What do we mean by 'orange?' It's when the influence of the love from the family (red) and the light of the church (yellow) come together to impact the next generation. The NextGen Ministry at Northeast exists to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. Through the celebration of faith milestones, movement along the Northeast discipleship pathway, and by creating opportunities for family faith experiences, the ministry team at Northeast serves parents and families by being a catalyst for discipleship in the home.
