Who We Are

Who We Are

Our Mission

"Growing together in Christ. Living compassionately in the world."

Northeast Bible Church is unified in our resolve to fulfill the mission God has called us to, a mission rooted in both the Great Commission and Great Commandment.

(Matthew 22:37-40, 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8)

As a result, everything we do is designed to lead people towards a greater love and passion for three simple things: Christ, Community and Compassion.

Our Beliefs

Northeast Bible Church is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America and shares the same Statement of Faith as other EFCA churches. To veiw these beliefs in detail click HERE.

Our Story

30 years ago the vision of a few people to reach a city birthed a church. In 1981 Northeast Bible Church launched as the vision of a group of people from Wayside Chapel in San Antonio. The vision was simple, plant a church to reach the Northeast corner of San Antonio with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now a part of a beautiful 20-acre campus with multiple facilities, Northeast continues to pursue its vision to develop leaders and reach the community for Jesus Christ. This vision spawned the start of a second church, New Braunfels Bible Church, in 2003 and is continuing to push us forward as we currently pursue a plan for a third church plant as well as an overseas partnership to make a difference in an orphanage and church in Central America.

From a small beginning by a small group of people inspired by a vision, Northeast Bible Church now ministers to countless families throughout the Northeast corner of San Antonio and around the world as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
