Making time with God a priority in your life is the most important thing you can do this year. This resource contains a Reading Guide that will give you a solid, easy to understand, and comprehensive survey of the Bible. We’re encouraging every member of our church to choose a quiet place at a set time each day to connect with God in Study and Prayer.
Here is a simple Plan we encourage you to use as you approach spending Daily time with God.
As you are reading, pay attention to anything the Lord impresses to your life as a personal word to be applied. When you read with an open heart, the Lord will give you words of encouragement, direction, and correction (2 Tim. 3:16). We recommend the SOAP method of reflection and response.
Study– Read the text (twice is nice).
Observe– Consider the What, Who, When, How & Why of the text.
Apply– How should this passage effect your attitudes, affections, and actions today?
Pray– Ask God for direction & power to live differently today (by His Grace & for His Glory).
